Privacy policy
Effective Date: January 7, 2026
Introduction
PRANSH ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. We strive to comply with all applicable privacy laws in North America, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We use plain language so that our practices are clear for consumers and regulators in the U.S. and Canada.
By using our website or services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy. If we need to use your information for a new purpose not described here, we will seek your consent where required by law.
Information We Collect
Personal Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household ("personal information"). This includes:
Identifiers and Contact Information: Such as your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, username or account ID, and similar contact data.
Account Credentials: If you create an account, we collect login details like your username and password (which we encourage you to keep secure).
Device and Usage Information: When you use our site or app, we automatically collect technical information like your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages or features you access, and the dates/times of your visits. This helps us understand how you interact with our services.
Cookies and Tracking Data: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing actions and preferences. This may include data on your interactions with our site, which allows us to remember your settings and personalize your experience.
Customer Service Information: If you contact us with a question or request, we may keep a record of that correspondence, including your contact information and the content of your communication.
Payment and Transaction Information: If you make purchases or transactions through our service, we (or our payment processor) may collect information such as payment card details and billing information. We use reputable third-party payment processors to handle payment data securely.
Sensitive Personal Information: We do not actively collect sensitive personal information such as government-issued identifiers, financial account passwords, precise geolocation, or protected characteristics (e.g. race, religion, health data) unless necessary for the services. If we ever need to collect sensitive information, we will do so only with your consent or as permitted by law, and we will inform you of the purpose. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by law.
Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from several sources: (1) Directly from you - for example, when you register an account, fill out a form, or communicate with us; (2) Automatically - for example, through cookies and similar technologies when you navigate our site; and (3) From third parties - for example, if you use a social media login or third-party service to sign into PRANSH, or if we receive marketing leads or analytics information from partners. We will only collect and use information from third parties in accordance with applicable law and this Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes, all in accordance with applicable laws and, where required, with your consent:
To Provide and Improve Our Services: We process your information to operate our website and services, create and manage your account, authenticate you when you log in, and provide the features and functionality you request. We also use the information to monitor performance, fix errors, and improve the content and usability of our services.
To Communicate with You: We use contact information to send service-related communications (e.g. confirmations, account alerts, updates on changes to our terms or Privacy Policy). If you opt-in to receive marketing messages, we will send you newsletters or promotions about PRANSH products or services. You can unsubscribe or opt out of marketing emails at any time.
For Personalization: We may use cookies and data about your interactions to personalize content, remember your preferences, and tailor your experience on our site.
Analytics and Development: We analyze usage information (including aggregated, non-identifiable data) to understand user behavior and trends. This helps us evaluate and improve our services, develop new features, and inform our business decisions.
Security and Fraud Prevention: We may use personal information to protect the security and integrity of our services, our users, and others. This includes detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions or other illegal activities.
Legal Compliance: We use and retain personal information as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to respond to valid legal requests (like subpoenas or court orders), or to exercise or defend legal claims.
With Your Consent: If we intend to use your personal information for a purpose that is not outlined in this Privacy Policy, we will explain it to you at the time of collection and, if required, obtain your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Like many websites, we use "cookies" and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and device identifiers) to collect certain information automatically when you interact with our site. Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device that help websites remember information about your visit. We use cookies to enable site functionality, remember your preferences, and analyze site traffic and usage patterns.
Types of Cookies
We may use the following categories of cookies: (1) Essential cookies - necessary for our site to function; (2) Analytics cookies - to collect information about how users engage with our site, so we can improve user experience; and (3) Advertising cookies - if we ever display ads or use third-party advertising networks, these cookies would be used to deliver relevant ads and track ad performance.
Your Choices for Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and other tools. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies or delete existing cookies. However, please note that if you disable cookies, some features of our site may not function properly. For analytics cookies, you can often opt out by using tools provided by the analytics provider (e.g., Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on).
"Do Not Track" Signals
At this time, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals in a standardized way, because there is currently no consensus on how to interpret them. However, we treat certain signals or mechanisms (such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC)) as an opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as required by California law. If your browser is set to send a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of cookies or trackers that would be considered a "sale" of personal data under CCPA/CPRA.
How We Share Your Information
We understand that your personal information is important, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties for money. We only share your information with others in certain circumstances, as described below:
Service Providers and Contractors: We share personal information with trusted third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors, email service providers, or analytics providers. These service providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to us and not for their own purposes.
Business Transfers: If PRANSH is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other transaction, your information may be transferred to the successor or affiliate as part of that deal.
Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or request, to investigate or enforce our agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PRANSH, our users, or others.
Affiliates: We might share information with our corporate affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy.
With Your Consent: We will share your personal information with other parties if you specifically request or direct us to do so.
Marketing & Messaging Providers: We use third-party platforms like Klaviyo to send marketing emails, SMS notifications, and transactional messages. These providers may access your contact information and interaction data solely for the purpose of delivering communications on our behalf.
No Sale of Personal Information
PRANSH does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we have not done so in the 12 months prior to the effective date of this Policy. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising) without your consent. Because we do not sell or share personal information in this way, we do not provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our homepage at this time. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and implement appropriate opt-out mechanisms.
Shopify Hosting & Infrastructure
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and their general application, all on a secure server behind a firewall. Shopify also provides payment processing through Shopify Payments or its third-party providers. Shopify's handling of your data, including any customer, order, and payment information, is governed by the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Applications and Integrations
We use several third-party applications integrated with our Shopify store to enhance your shopping experience and streamline business operations. These services may collect limited data necessary for their function:
Klaviyo (Email & SMS)
Used for sending promotional emails, transactional order updates, and SMS marketing. If you subscribe to our email or SMS list, your name, contact information, and purchase behavior may be shared with Klaviyo solely for communication purposes. You can opt out via unsubscribe links or by contacting us.
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
Used for advertising, analytics, and retargeting. Data may be shared through tracking pixels or integrations when you interact with ads, products, or marketing campaigns. We use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to track visitor behavior, improve our advertising, and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may collect information such as your device, browser, interactions with our site, and actions like purchases or page views. Data may be used by Meta Platforms, Inc. for analytics and targeted advertising, including through a feature called advanced matching. You can manage how your data is used by Meta by visiting your Off-Facebook Activity settings and adjusting your ad preferences.
Google & YouTube
Used for performance analytics (Google Analytics) and paid search campaigns (Google Ads). Google may collect cookies or interaction data through ads or embedded media. These tools help us understand how users find and interact with our Site, measure advertising effectiveness, and optimize our marketing spend. Data collected may include your device information, browsing behavior, search queries that led you to our Site, and conversion events. You can manage your privacy settings via your Google Account Privacy Controls or opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity
Used to understand how visitors interact with our website through features such as heatmaps and session replays (session recordings). Clarity helps us identify usability issues (e.g., confusing navigation, broken elements, or friction in checkout) and improve our website experience. Clarity may collect information about your device and browser, pages visited, the actions you take on our site (e.g., clicks, scrolling), and other usage and performance data. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies to associate multiple page views into a single session and to provide analytics features. Microsoft Clarity is provided by Microsoft, and its processing practices are further described in Microsoft Clarity’s privacy information and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
TikTok
Used for advertising, analytics, and re-targeting on the TikTok platform. We use the TikTok Pixel and Events API to track visitor behavior, improve our advertising, and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on TikTok. These tools may collect information such as your device, browser, interactions with our site, and actions like purchases or page views. Data may be used by TikTok Inc. for analytics and personalized advertising, including through a feature called advanced matching (which may use hashed contact information like email or phone if provided). You can manage how your data is used by TikTok by visiting your app privacy settings or adjusting your ad preferences.
TikTok Checkout
We also use TikTok's In-App Checkout, which allows customers to complete purchases directly on the TikTok platform. Information such as products viewed, cart contents, and transaction data may be shared with TikTok to enable and optimize this checkout experience. All data shared follows TikTok's privacy policies.
Shopify Native Applications
We use Shopify Inbox, Email, Flow, and Shop App to provide live customer support, notifications, automation flows, and personalized post-purchase experiences. These tools may access customer records, support interactions, and order status to serve you better.
We only partner with platforms that are contractually obligated to use your data responsibly and exclusively for the services they provide to us. Data collected via these apps is not sold or used for unrelated purposes. Please refer to the respective privacy policies of each app for more information.
Internal Data Access
Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized personnel within PRANSH who require such access to perform their job functions. This includes order fulfillment, customer service, marketing, and administrative operations. All access to customer information is logged and reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with internal data protection practices. Unauthorized access or use of personal data is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice, this means:
We keep your account information and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or it becomes inactive, we will initiate deletion of that information after a reasonable period (typically within 90 days), except to the extent we need to retain it for legal reasons.
If you make a request to delete your data, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, unless retaining it is necessary for us to comply with legal obligations or exercise our rights.
We retain communications you send to us (e.g., support emails) for a period necessary to address your inquiry, provide customer service, or maintain evidence of our communications (typically up to 3 years).
Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting requirements.
Even after you delete your account or we delete personal data at your request, residual copies may remain in our backup systems for a brief period as a safeguard. We also may retain information if needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. PRANSH implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (e.g., SSL/TLS for our website), access controls to limit who in our organization can access personal information, and regular review of our information collection and storage practices. We also require our service providers to follow strict data protection standards.
While we strive to protect your information, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law (within 72 hours where required). We have a breach response plan in place to promptly address such incidents.
Your Rights and Choices
You have various rights and choices regarding your personal information. We strive to honor these rights for all our users:

Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We generally require users to be at least 16 years old to create an account. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us.

PRANSH is based in the United States, and our website and services are controlled and operated from the U.S. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States (such as from Canada or any other country), be aware that your personal information will be transferred to and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our servers or our third-party service providers are located. The data protection laws of these countries may be different from those in your home jurisdiction.
However, we take steps to ensure that your privacy remains protected according to the standards described in this Policy, regardless of where your data is processed. When we transfer personal information from Canada to the U.S. or to other countries, we do so in accordance with PIPEDA's requirements. By using our services or providing us with your information, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described here.
International Use and GDPR Readiness
Although we currently offer services only in North America, should we expand operations to the European Union in the future, we are prepared to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes lawful processing bases, additional user rights (such as data portability and objection), and appointment of a Data Protection Officer where necessary. Our privacy practices are designed with international standards in mind for future compatibility.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice of the change - for example, by posting a notice on our website homepage or by emailing you if you have provided your email address. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed.
Your continued use of PRANSH's services after any update to this Policy will signify your acceptance of the changes, provided that any changes will not retroactively apply to how we handle earlier-collected personal information without your consent or as required by law.
